Photographs have always been a passion so when Darren persuaded me to pick up the camera and learn how to take a photograph I thought it would only ever be a hobby but as time has passed I have found that I am as passionate about taking the photograph as I am the resulting image.
Being so passionate about photography has meant that I am always looking for ways to improve my photography skills. So each year I set myself a challenge to improve my skills which usually involves undertaking training. On going learning has always been important to me and I make an effort to undertake at least one training course each year but towards the end of last year I decided to set myself a target, one which has probably been the hardest and most nerve wracking so far!
I decided to put myself forward in an effort to gain a qualification with a Professional body within the photography industry. I choose the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and after a lot of sweat and a few tears I prepared a panel of 20 images for submission.
I am absolutely delighted to say that I have been successful in gaining my Licentiateship for the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP).
I have to say a huge thank you to all the parents who have allowed me to photograph their gorgeous babies!
I have added the images below of my successful panel.
Hope you enjoy looking at these cuties.
