Hi, I would like to introduce myself.  I am Fiona McKean, award winning and fully qualified master photographer based in the beautiful town of Dumfries, South West Scotland.

For those of you who don’t know me I am mum to two gorgeous girls, Heather and Isla, and wife to Darren.  For as long as I can remember I have loved looking at photos of my family and friends.  A reminder of a time forgotten, and sometimes an unknown story waiting to be told.  I haven’t always been a professional photographer, in fact prior to that I was a police officer for 16 years and only turned my hobby into a profession as the girls got older.  I have been in business now since 2012 and have photographed hundreds of babies, children and families.  Oh and I love a blether – if you would like to get to know me better before entrusting me to photograph your new baby, toddler or whole family give me a shout, I love to chat!!!
